The  2015 Guinness book of record trickster and PGA Pro Danish Karsten Maas will feature in the KCB Karen Masters slated for March 17-19 this year.

Karsten putted on the practice green getting in a quick nine holes at the Karen Country Club as he endevoured to familiarize with the course ahead of the inaugural event in Nairobi.

The golfer says he will approach the tournament with great caution and today’s brief round of golf was a familiarization with
the fabulous course.

“I am excited to be in Kenya for the KCB Karen Masters and its vital that I have my game plan right, playing here means a lot to me and I am hoping to make history at this conti-nental event’; said Karsten

Maas will be eyeing to overcome a strong field of young golfers led by Scottish David Law and Bradley Neil who are ranked on 58 and 64 from the 2016 European qualifying school.

“Playing with such youngsters means I really have to be good at my swing, it’s the dream of every golfer to make history by
winning and that what I will focus on especially in the front nine, added Karsten.

Karsten who has played golf for the last 42 years headed for Morocco and China to play in other international championships before returning for the main event
