PGA Pro Karsten Maas to grace Karen Masters
This is a fabulous but tactical course and if I am to compete against the young blood set to feature in the event a game plan is essential’.’These are the words of PGA Pro Danish Karsten Maas who is set to feature in the KCB Karen Masters slated for March 17-19. Maas, a professional golfer and a self-described “Trid Golf Artist” who holds the Guinness World Record for the World’s Longest Us-able Golf Club (measuring 4.37m and documented driving a golf ball over a distance of 165.46ml, was speaking yesterday in Karen after he putted on the practice green, getting in a quick nine holes in a brief round of golf meant to familiarise with the course. The 51-year-old will be part of 46 PGA Pros and 22 local Pros who will betaking part in the inaugural three-day event. -LYNETTE MATHEKA
